End of year review 2014
20th December 2014
And so another year reaches its conclusion. It is a time to look back and reflect on what has gone and to think towards the future. 2014 has been a good year for me. I have had loads of photographic opportunities, met some wonderful new people, and worked with some old friends. I have completed several projects that I had in mind to do, all of which were very successful, and I have had some success in entering International Salons.
Now is the time to look towards the next year and new challenges and goals that I am setting myself. Challenges and goals help me to focus my mind and allow the organized part of my brain to function and plan. I am hoping to work with lots of new people and to make many new friends along the way. I also have a new venture which is nearing completion and hopefully will be ready for launching soon – but more of that in another blog.
Photography for me is a creative process and a great deal of thought and preparation goes into my shoots. Sometimes it goes to plan and sometimes it can leave me feeling frustrated if it doesn’t work the way I expect it to. However, rather than throw in the towel it makes me more determined and as they say ‘where there’s a will; there’s a way’… I hope to do bigger and better things in 2015 and for me it is new concepts and challenges that keep me eager for me and keep my photography fresh.
I hope you will join me in 2015 and enjoy my work and my endeavors, and don’t forget to pop back soon for more information on my new venture.
