‘Miss Havisham’

Love her, love her, love her!

If she favours you, love her

If she wounds you, love her.

If she tears your heart to pieces –

and as it gets older and stronger,

it will tear you deeper –

Love her, love her, love her!

Charles Dickens Great Expectations.

This is the last gallery of images with the lovely Anita de Bauch. The idea of this set of images was my interpretation of the tragic story of Miss Havisham in Great Expectations. As a young bride she was sadly jilted at the alter and never getting over that she wore her wedding dress to her dying day harbouring mixed feelings of love, hatred and loathing. Hers is a sad story and I hope my interpretation of this story does it justice. Many thanks to Anita for aiding me in this photo shoot and for helping me produce the images I wanted.
